Timeshare & Free Prizes - Vacation Resort Management

One way that Timeshare companies try to lure new prospects into hearing about timeshares for sale is by offering them free prizes. These deals are often shady and a company called Vacation Resort Management has sent out messages that people are "guaranteed" one of five prizes (including a car, vacations and a television). When they go to the office to claim their prizes, however, they are required to sit through a timeshare sales presentation and don't receive any of the prizes.

Loreto Mexica and Timeshares

Nothing is worse than being hounded by timeshare salespeople when you're trying to vaction. That is why we'd like to send out a big "thank you" to Loreto, Mexico for having the common sense and courtesy to "ban beach-side trinket peddlers and time-share hustlers from the airport." For more information about this vacation destination, you can read about it in the LA Times

New Place To Donate Timeshares

We have added a new place to possibly donate your timeshare - Southern New Hampshire University is accepting timeshare donations to help benefit students at SNHU, but will only accept those that can be sold for a profit.... it's being done through a timeshare reseller site which I haven't checked out, so proceed with caution.

You can see the entire list of places that take timeshare donations
